Ninefold Festival

2024 Ninefold Festival is returning to an online format via Zoom. The theme for this year’s festival is Harvesting Our Sacred Beauty. Join us September 14-15, 2024 as we gather for our 9th annual Ninefold!

Registration will be open soon!

The Sisterhood of Avalon is delighted to announce the Ninefold Festival will be held online September 14-15, 2024. This year’s theme is “Harvesting Our Sacred Bounty”.

The Ninefold Festival Committee is accepting applications from presenters and performers whose proposals resonate with the active essence of the harvest season both in nature and within our own lives. We are looking for interactive workshops, engaging activities, and insightful how-to sessions to enrich this year’s offerings. Each presentation should be 75 minutes long, including time for Q&As.

We are also looking for complementary performances of approximately 45 minutes to an hour that can be delivered through an online platform.

The Committee extends a warm invitation to all women who feel called to present and/or perform to submit their ideas for consideration. You are welcome to submit more than one proposal. For any inquiries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at

Please submit your proposals by May 27, 2024, via the following links:

Let’s come together to celebrate and honor the abundance of our sacred harvest!

This annual event is sponsored by the Sisterhood of Avalon and is open to all women, especially those with an interest in British and Celtic Paganism, Welsh Traditions, Druidism, Goddess Spirituality, and Wise Women’s Ways.

Ninefold Festival features engaging speakers and teachers, talented musical guests, unique vendors, all alongside the warmth of community as women gather together from around the world to circle our virtual festival hearthfire!

The Ninefold Vision

The Sisterhood of Avalon’s Ninefold festival embodies a vision dedicated to creating diverse community in sacred space, building bonds of sisterhood across cultures, and celebrating the unique reflection of the Divine Feminine in every woman. With an emphasis on the Avalonian Tradition and aligned teachings, the Ninefold Festival seeks to hold a space where Avalon’s gifts of safety, healing, and sovereignty can be experienced in the here and now. The Sisterhood welcomes all women to participate in the mysteries of the Ninefold – whether for a weekend…or a lifetime.

Founded in 1995, the Sisterhood of Avalon is a non-profit organization with international membership that focuses on Celtic women’s mysteries and which seeks to balance intuitive wisdom with scholastic achievement. Among its activities, the SOA sponsors the Avalonian Thealogical Seminary; facilitates international training intensives; hosts spiritual pilgrimages to sacred sites in the UK and Ireland through Mythic Seeker; publishes devotional anthologies, keepsake datebooks, and religious calendars through Ninth Wave Press, as well as “The Tor Stone” a digital Journal of Women’s Spirituality, and “The Barge”, our member newsletter; hosts an annual Celtic women’s spirituality gathering called the Ninefold Festival; connects with women around the world through AvaCon, an online conference; and provides a variety of learning opportunities both through local hearth groups and online community support.

Ninefold Festival

All women are welcome at Ninefold Festival and you do not have to be an SOA member to participate. In order to be able to include as many women as possible, tickets are sold on a sliding scale cost of $30, $60, or $90. We do ask that you pay what you can for the event, but all ticket prices include the same access to the weekend festival. Proceeds help to not only pay for our keynotes and performances for the weekend, but help fund future Ninefold Festival offerings as well as the Sisterhood in general, and we appreciate every dollar given.
